INGREDIENTS
Spaghetti sauce recipe
3 Tbsp of unsalted butter
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
1 Tbsp tomato paste
2 Tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp basil
1 large can crushed tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce, 15oz
2 Tbsp beef bullion, powder
1 Tbsp garlic, minced
1-2 Tbsp sugar
1 cup beef stock
Pinch of salt
Dash of hot sauce
DIRECTIONS
In a dutch oven or large pot brown your meat until done. Drain your meat and place the meat in a bowl an sat it aside.
In the same pot (don’t wash it) on low/med heat add your butter, onions and peppers. Sauté those for 2-3 minutes careful not to burn. Add your tomato paste and stir. Let it cook for 1 minute. To that you’ll add Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and basil. Stir until combined. Let it cook for 1 minute
Next, add in your crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce. Stir. Now add in your beef bullion powder, Stir. Lastly add your sugar, pinch of salt,hot sauce(optional), and beef stock. Stir and let cook on simmer/low for 30 minutes uncovered
1 box spaghetti noodles,cooked
Cooked ground beef
2 cups mild cheddar cheese, shredded
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
Plus additional cheese to add on top (both cheeses)
Large Casserole dish
Preheat your oven 350
In the casserole dish add your noodles,ground beef 2 ladles of sauce and 1 cup of mild cheddar cheese. Combine it well. Next add in 2-3 more ladles of sauce and the rest of your shredded cheese (remember to have extra cheese for the top), mix. Now this next part depends on if you want it saucy. You can add more sauce it’s completely optional.
