Materials

  • - 2 lbs chicken breast
  • - 1 packet taco seasoning
  • - 1 cup salsa
  • - 1 cup chicken broth
  • - 1 cup sour cream
  • - 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • - 1 bag tortilla chips
  • - 1/4 cup green onions chopped
  • - 1/4 cup black olives sliced
  • - 1/4 cup jalapeños sliced (optional)
  • - 1 avocado diced
  • - 1 tomato diced

Instructions

  • Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle taco seasoning over the chicken. Add salsa and chicken broth.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix in the sour cream.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Spread tortilla chips on a baking sheet, top with shredded chicken mixture, sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Garnish with green onions, black olives, jalapeños, avocado, and tomato before serving.
