- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- ¼ cup Honey
- 2 tablespoons Ketchup
- 1 teaspoon Yellow Mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
You will also need: 2 Large Baking Sheets, 1 Cooling Rack, 1 Pastry Brush
Set oven temperature to 375°F.
Add a little pepper, salt, and garlic powder to the chicken wings.
Apply a thin layer of cooking spray to a baking sheet. Arrange the chicken wings on the baking sheet in a single layer. For thirty minutes, bake them.
Take off the oven's wings. Place a cooling rack on a sanitized baking sheet.
Apply a thin layer of cooking spray to the cooling rack. Place the chicken wings, skin side up, in a single layer on the cooling rack. For fifteen minutes, bake them.
While the wings continue to cook, make the sauce
Pour the Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, honey, mustard, and barbecue sauce into a pot. The barbecue sauce should be heated over medium heat, stirring often to prevent sticking.
After the sugar has melted and the ingredients have combined, simmer the sauce for a few minutes. While the sauce is cooking, give it your whole attention! Never leave the pan alone.
Reduce the heat to low and whisk periodically to keep the sauce warm until you're ready to use it.
Set aside approximately ¾ of the sauce for serving, and transfer the remainder to a bowl.
Coat the wings with the barbecue sauce
After taking the wings out of the oven, flip each one so the lighter side is facing up. After generously brushing them with barbecue sauce, bake them for an additional five minutes.
Take them out of the oven one more and flip each wing. Apply a generous coating of the sauce on them.
After five more minutes of baking, put the wings back in the oven.
Give them one last coat of sauce and bake for a further five minutes, without rotating them this time.
Serve the chicken wings with the leftover barbecue sauce on the side, arranged on a tray.
