Materials

  • - 3 eggs
  • - 180 g sugar
  • - 180 g oil
  • - 150 g milk
  • - 1 cup of flour approximately 120 g
  • - 6 g bicarbonate of soda baking soda
  • - Butter for greasing the mold

Instructions

Preheat the Oven:

  • - Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Prepare the Cake Batter:

  • - In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until the mixture becomes pale and fluffy.
  • - Gradually add the oil while continuing to beat until fully incorporated.
  • - Slowly pour in the milk, mixing until well combined.
  • - Sift the flour and bicarbonate of soda together. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, folding gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Prepare the Mold:

  • - Grease a cake mold with butter to ensure the cake doesn’t stick.
  • - Pour the cake batter into the prepared mold.

Smooth the Surface:

  • - Wet a knife and gently pass it through the top of the cake batter to create a smooth surface. This helps ensure an even rise during baking.

Bake the Cake:

  • - Place the mold in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • - Allow the cake to cool in the mold for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
