  • - 2 teaspoons of instant yeast
  • - 1 cup of warm water
  • - 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • - 2 tablespoons of honey
  • - 2 tablespoons of oil
  • - 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • - Pinch of salt

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Yeast Mixture

  • In a bowl, combine:
  • - 1 cup of warm water
  • - 2 teaspoons of instant yeast
  • - 2 tablespoons of honey
  • - 2 tablespoons of oil
  • Mix these ingredients together until well combined.

Step 2: Prepare the Dry Ingredients

  • In another large mixing bowl, combine:
  • - 2 cups of flour
  • - 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • - Pinch of salt
  • - 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • Mix well to ensure all dry ingredients are evenly distributed.

Step 3: Combine and Form Dough

  • Pour the yeast mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients.
  • Mix until the mixture forms a dough.

Step 4: Knead the Dough

  • Transfer the dough to a flat surface or chopping board.
  • Knead the dough until it becomes smooth and elastic (about 10 minutes).
  • Grease a round pan and place the dough in it. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and let it sit for about 2 hours or until the dough has doubled in size.

Step 5: Shape the Dough

  • Sprinkle some flour on the flat surface.
  • Place the risen dough on the surface and flatten it with your hands.
  • Roll the dough into a loaf shape, ensuring to close the edges well.
  • Grease a baking pan and place the shaped dough inside. Cover the pan loosely with plastic wrap and let it rise for another hour until it has doubled in size.

Step 6: Bake the Bread

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bake the dough for 40 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  • Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool before slicing.
