**For the Meatloaf:**
- - 1.5 pounds ground beef
 - - 1 onion finely chopped
 - - 2 cloves garlic minced
 - - 1 cup breadcrumbs
 - - 1/2 cup milk
 - - 2 large eggs
 - - 2 tablespoons ketchup
 - - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
 - - 1 teaspoon salt
 - - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
 - - 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
 - - 1/2 cup ketchup for topping
 
**For the Macaroni & Cheese:**
- - 8 ounces macaroni
 - - 2 tablespoons butter
 - - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
 - - 2 cups milk
 - - 8 ounces cheddar cheese shredded
 - - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
 - - 1/4 teaspoon paprika
 
 
**For the Meatloaf:**
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and thyme until well combined.
Press the mixture into a loaf pan. Spread the additional ketchup over the top.
Bake for 1 hour, or until cooked through. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
**For the Macaroni & Cheese:**
Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour to form a roux, cooking for 1 minute.
Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese until melted. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Combine cheese sauce with macaroni, then transfer to a baking dish.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
