  • - 8 beef sausages
  • - 1 large onion halved and finely sliced

  • - 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • - Mashed potatoes to serve

Instructions

Cook Sausages:

  • - Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook sausages until browned and cooked through, about 8 minutes.

Remove Sausages:

  • - Place cooked sausages on a plate. Leave around 2 tbsp of oil in the skillet.

Sauté Onions:

  • - Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 4 minutes.

Cook Flour:

  • - Mix in the flour and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add Broth:

  • - Gradually add the beef broth, stirring to form a sludge, then mix in the remaining broth. Simmer until the gravy thickens, about 2-3 minutes.

Season Gravy:

  • - Add salt and pepper to taste.

  • - Plate sausages with plenty of gravy, mashed potatoes, and peas.
