This recipe are delicious with just chips and a pickle, but they may also be served with your favorite side dish. Here are a few choices: Potato salad, egg salad, tomato salad, corn salad with tomatoes and avocados, fruit salad, and tomato soup.
The finest part of a club is the crispy bacon. Bacon makes everything better, right? One of the simplest methods for cooking bacon is in the oven. Place the bacon on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, turning after 10 minutes. Let the bacon lay on paper towels for a few minutes to drain the fat.
Ingredients
- 2 pieces of center cut bacon, split in half.
- 2 pieces of whole grain bread, Dave’s Killer Bread, thinly cut with Good Seed.
- 1 tablespoon light mayonnaise.
- 2 pieces of iceberg lettuce.
- 3 ounces of thinly sliced turkey breast (Boar’s Head).
- 2 ripe tomato slices
Variations:
- Substitute ham, roast beef, or chicken for turkey.

- To make a turkey club wrap, use a tortilla instead of bread.
- Replace the bread with a lettuce wrap for a low-carb sandwich.
- Add mustard to your sandwich.
- Serve your club with cheddar or Swiss cheese.
- Add avocado as an additional vegetable.
FAQs
What is a turkey club sandwich?
A turkey club is a popular sandwich made with six ingredients: turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, and bread. It is normally made with a third slice of bread in the middle and additional layers of meat, but I used only two slices to save calories.
Are turkey clubs healthy?
Turkey clubs can be healthful. Since I only use two slices of bread, I use less meat and mayonnaise. I prefer to use Dave’s Killer Bread Thin-Sliced, which is whole grain and contains fewer calories than standard bread. This turkey clubs sandwich contains 351 calories.
