Although I don’t often share drink recipes, this summer I have been enjoying a variety of beverages made with plenty of fresh ingredients, including this refreshing cucumber, mint, and lime drink! Why not flavor that water with some fresh fruits, berries, veggies, and herbs? I nearly always drink a glass of water with my meal, when I’m resting, or while I’m sitting at my desk at work. Fresh fruits, berries, vegetables, and herbs can be simply added to water to offer a hint of flavor, or they can be pureed into the water and strained to remove any solids for an even stronger flavor punch. The flavor choices are practically unlimited, ranging from simple additions of lime or lemon juice to water to well-known drinks like lemonade, raspberry lemonade, etc. Adding fresh vegetables or herbs is always a pleasant option. Cucumber, mint, and lime juice make for a super-refreshing beverage that is wonderfully delicious and thirst-quenching!
