Ingredients
– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
– 5 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme
– 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
– 1/2 cup chicken broth
– Juice of 1 lemon
– 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Directions
1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove chicken and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Stir in thyme, rosemary, chicken broth, and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer.
5. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
