Ingredients:
1 cup dill pickle slices (about 20 slices)
2 large eggs
1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried dill
Cooking spray or oil for misting
Directions:
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
In three separate shallow bowls, set up your breading station. In the first bowl, add the flour. In the second bowl, beat the eggs. In the third bowl, combine the Panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, and dried dill. Mix well.
Take a pickle slice and dredge it in the flour, ensuring it’s coated evenly. Shake off any excess flour.
Dip the pickle slice into the beaten eggs, making sure it’s fully coated.
Finally, place the pickle slice into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing the breadcrumbs onto the pickle to adhere. Repeat this process for all pickle slices.
Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with cooking spray or oil. Place the breaded pickle slices in a single layer in the basket, ensuring they’re not touching each other.
Cook the pickles in the air fryer for 5-6 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
Remove the fried pickles from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute or two before serving.
Serve your Crispy Air Fryer Fried Pickles with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch dressing or spicy mayo.
