This meatloaf has all of the delicious flavor of a bacon cheeseburger! To achieve authentic burger flavor, top slices of meatloaf with ketchup, mustard, and relish.
You’ll Need:
3 pounds 85% lean 15% fat ground beef.
1 pound of country style sausage.
2 eggs.
⅓ cup of ketchup.
1 ½ tsps of Morton’s Nature’s seasoning.
½ tsp of garlic powder.
1 tbsp of worcestershire sauce.
½ tsp of pepper.
½ tsp of salt.
½ cup of breadcrumbs.
1 cup of diced cheddar cheese.
How to make it:
In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients except for the bacon.
Place the mixture into two loaf pans lined with bacon.
Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake for 90 minutes.
Remove from the pan immediately after baking, slice, and serve. Voila!
Simple, simple, and wonderful! I preserve the leftovers to make sandwiches the following day! I take it from the pan immediately after baking to decrease the quantity of fat.
